Mr. Schmidt joined MedAvante in 2003 as Director, Clinical Operations. He was promoted to Vice President, Clinical Operations in 2005 and was responsible for the development and scaling of the clinical operating infrastructure. In 2006 he was appointed Vice President, Commercial Operations with responsibility for the management and delivery of MedAvante's commercial services. Mr. Schmidt coordinates and controls all the employee efforts and activities that produce, in concert, our rating and training services. His personal goal is to achieve 100% customer service fulfillment with zero defect tolerance.
Mr. Schmidt has a deep domain experience in Contract Research, over 11 years of clinical trial management experience which provides him both the strategic and operational skills to collaborate on the development and management of MedAvante's unique Centralized Expert Ratings Service. Mr. Schmidt's CV includes 8 years at Covance, Inc. one of the nation's largest CROs (provides clinical trial services to pharmaceutical clients). During his tenure, he held management positions within Clinical Operations, Trial Logistics and Resourcing.
Mr. Schmidt has a BS in Biology from the University of Scranton.
