Angela Wilmer has 20 years of traditional and managed health care experience most recently at Horizon Blue Cross Blue Shield of NJ. She successfully developed and managed health care policies and administrative procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory agencies and other standards for a provider network of over 10,000 providers. She has developed recruitment, contracting, and retention strategies for employees, physicians and ancillary providers.
Ms. Wilmer came to MedAvante in September, 2002 where she co-developed a provider network of over 100 physicians in less than 3 months, executed the company's first feasibility study using videoconferencing and managed the Rater Operations Department. In her role as Director of Human Resources, Ms. Wilmer is responsible for identifying and recruiting exceptional professionals particularly the most highly trained clinical interviewers. She develops policy and directs and coordinates Human Resources activities such as employment, compensation, labor relations, benefits, training, and employee services.
