MedAvante Central Ratings represent the highest level of risk reduction service for CNS clinical trials. 

Centralizing and managing raters as a single cohort makes it technically feasible to continuously train, monitor, and calibrate them as well as to maintain full blinding. This level of standardization is not logistically feasible with a large group of non-calibrated raters located across a large number of unconnected study sites.

MedAvante Central Ratings can address issues of baseline score inflation and expectancy bias by providing the services of expert, raters who work independent of the investigative sites.
